Easter Shots

The kids were super cute this year at Easter.  We had such a lovely day that day.  High of 70 degrees, beautiful sunshine.  The kids had an Easter Egg hunt in our backyard early in the morning, then headed to church service, had family over for lunch and then headed to John and Ambers for dinner.  Busy, but beautiful day.

Little buddy

She was cute telling him not to touch the bush because it was sharp.

Good smile from her, we don't know what was up with the shoulder, but she was going with it.

Pre-Easter Morning on the Plaza

Ellie, Tommy and I headed to the Plaza on a beautiful morning and came upon some really neat statues to climb and play on.  It was prime photo shoot time...pretty day, the kids were dressed in cute clothes and fairly clean, Tom was battling with a cup of water and straw....

Tracy was in town the same weekend and gave her this dress - beautiful.  Some older gentleman stopped us on the street and told me we should have Ellie be a model  :)

Excited to drink out of a big boy cup.  He never set it down.

Cheese!

With the turtle...still has his cup.

Loved this Easter Bunny.

He did too...with his cup...having some straw problems.

Its hard work messing with the straw.

Wanting to be with his sister, don't worry - he still has the cup!

Tom on Costume Day

Tommy recently enjoyed Costume Day at school, rocking these looks below.

Spring Time Fun

We have been loving the spring weather.  On a recent weekend, Mikey went to St. Louis to watch the tournament games.  So my mom and I took the kids to the zoo to enjoy the weather, and then we came back home to cheer on the Jayhawks and dye some Easter eggs.

Snuggling in bed before we leave....

Checking out the monkeys

Tuckered out while waiting for the tram.

Merry Go Round fun
Loves them as much as his sister

Really nervous while watching the Jayhawks
Ellie's first Easter Egg Dying outing
She made some great ones.  Who knew that Easter egg dying kits come with so many bells and whistles now?

I found Sadie like this at the end of the day...I wanted to join her.
