Well 3 month old Luke was a MUCH happier boy than before. Still every bit as smiley and flirty, but now for far longer stints of time. He was starting to sleep for much longer, usually only waking up once a night, for which we were very grateful. He also started to get very chatty, especially right before he went to bed. He would just squeak and chatter for 20 or 30 minutes to anyone that listened. He started filling out in his cheeks, and got stronger in his neck. He has brought so much joy to us. The kids love showing him off at school and now that he smiles when he sees them, well they think that is amazing.
Here are some shots of him making his way through month 3.
Well the first day of school came and went. Ellie is an old pro at her school by now, and walked right on in on day 1, already knowing her teachers and several friends. It's hard to believe she will be in kindergarten next year.
Here's Ellie working away on Day 1.
Tommy was so excited to go to "Ellie's school" this year. He was thrilled to get his own red school bag like Ellie. Now Tommy has never been a child who has liked drop offs, but for some reason drop off on his first day was a breeze. He went in like a big boy and had a great day!
I think part of the appeal was that his teachers had him choose how he wanted to be greeted by looking at a piece of paper...with a handshake, a hug or a high five. He was excited to make that choice. Here he is choosing.

Got some great pictures of Luke at 2 months old. Luke was struggling still with stomach issues at 2 months. He was still very smiley and flirty when he felt good, which was a pleasure to watch. He weighed in at 11 pounds at his appointment. He was only eating once a night, which was also helpful. He was kind and let his very eager brother and sister get awfully close to him many times a day. Luke went to the Ozarks with us, hit several local parks, and had active days with his brother and sister home for much of his 2nd month.
We were at Costco the other day, and Tommy and Ellie were overcome with excitement at a huge rack of children's costumes that were out. Their mom is a sucker, and we walked out with new costumes. Tommy has grown a very big obsession with superheroes of late, and so we now have this little Spider-Man running around our house.
