Nothing You Can Do To Stop This Guy

Tommy's teachers sent me some great pictures of him last week.

First - his teacher happened to turn around and see him without his pants on, which he found extremely funny.

She then turned and saw the cause of him being pantless.  He got hung up on a corner, but evidently wanted to keep moving.

This was the next day...he had just finished lunch and decided to take his arm out of his sleeve and wipe the table down.  I love doing his laundry by the way.

Here was a shot of him sleeping, clutching his pacifier, just a sweet picture.

A Walkin Man

Bascially overnight, Tommy discovered he can walk behind his friend the lion, and that is ALL he wants to do ever since.  Check him out....

Here I come....

He is still getting the hang of it, but determined nonetheless

A Lady and Superman: Posing

We got Tommy this Superman shirt awhile back, not knowing how hilarious it would actually be on.  So the first time we put him in it coincided with a beautiful Sunday, and I caught some good pictures of him and Ellie posing on our front steps.

Its not always the easiest to get Ellie to pose - here's a tongue out for warm up.

Cheese!  Chandler Bing smile from Ellie, cheers froM Tommy.

Best buddies.

Hey pumpkin.

Close - good smile from Tom, almost from Ellie.

Mikey and Amy Get Away

Mikey and I were lucky enough to go away to Savannah, Georgia with friends recently for some very necessary adult time away.  It was our first time in Savannah, and we loved it from the start.  Our friend's parents have a home there, and 3 other couples joined us on this getaway.  On the agenda: pool and spa time, golf, fishing, shrimping, shopping, drinks and some incredible food!

View from the "Main House" in the neighborhood we were staying in

Love the huge oak trees with the moss.

Picture of the boys.

And the gals.

The trees really were incredible.

I mean, how happy am I?  Pretty nice house in the background, glass of wine at my right, no child attached to me crying.

An Evening in the Life of Tommy Burgess

So Tommy is definitely on the move, and to prove it, I recently snapped some shots of him one night.  In this 30 minute span, you will get an idea of just how much this child can get into.  PS - it was "Wacky Hair Day" in Tommy's class, hence the faux hawk.

Kitchen Sink Cabinet

Hey Mama.

What?  I am just going to check this cabinet out...

Its fun!

On to the dishwasher, Mom - can I help?

Mom says, yes, I need all the help I can get.

Hey - What's going on out there?

And the only way we can contain him now...in his high chair eating.

School Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

We went with Ellie and Tommy's school recently to the Pumpkin Patch at the Deanna Rose Farmstead.  It was 75 degrees, sunny and filled with excitement.  We toured around the park with several of Ellie's friends - both our camera and of the school's teachers got some quality shots.  It was a beautiful day!

Ellie and her school  buddies - Syrah and Emery

Three ladies taking Deanna Rose by storm

Three ladies plus another boyfriend they picked up

Ringing all the cowbells.

It was big time (and loud) fun!

Tommy got in on the action

Ring ring!

Feeding the baby goats!

She does it pretty well!

Pretty proud of herself

Cheese!

Orange fish!

Liked the saddle.

Riding on the tractors.

She got pretty good at the steering.

Mom and Dad posing with Tommy

Another one with Dad and Tom.

We tried to get Ellie to pose with us...She wasn't interested.

Ellie ruling the hay bales

More ruling

This was a sweet moment.  Mikey and I got to see Tom attempt to stand without holding on for the first time, and one of the teachers caught it on camera.

He loved touching the hay.

"Hey - I can grab it too"
