Here's a Look at Luke at 5 months
Luke celebrated his five month birthday right before the holiday season. He continues to grow, grow, grow, for sure wearing 6 month clothes by the time he hit 5 months. He began to sit up a little easier, loves to watch his brother and sister, began rolling over regularly and talks a lot. By a lot I mean that he screeches like a hyena. Very loud but it makes him so happy to scream and squeal. He continues to be incredibly smiling and a huge blessing to us.
Tommy Turns 3
I can hardly believe that Tommy turned three. On one hand, he has a huge and awesome vocabulary, can climb nearly anything in his path no matter how tall, and has certainly picked up how to stand up to his sister. But Tommy will always be a sweet little boy to me. He has such a great heart, is incredibly sweet and cute and cuddly, but as he has grown into those 3 years, those moments are growing fewer. I might just have to make him give me kisses, but he still does...for now.
Tommy started preschool and is doing incredibly well, save for some rough drop offs. He enjoys going to "Ellie's school". He was utterly blown away by Luke being born and absolutely adores him. Superheroes have taken over his life to every extent, but he can still name all the princesses thanks to his sister. He can keep up with just about anyone, following behind our friend's older children, but doing everything they do.
Tommy is the heart of our family, a sweet soul, with three year old tantrums creeping in from time to time. We are so blessed to have him and have enjoyed watching him grow.
Halloween
All of the kids had a great Halloween...well besides Tommy, who was battling a case of walking pneumonia that week. The timing was super sad since he was soooo excited about his Batman costume. He told anyone and everyone he was going to be Batman for Halloween. He was too sick for school when the day came around but he wore his costume all day anyway. His partner Luke did an admirable job of being Batman's sidekick Robin. And Ellie chose to be a Princess Bride this year. Apparently she had grown tired of just wearing princess outfits and felt she needed to be Princess Ariel when she got married..."it's so much better mom." Her two good friends also dressed as Princess Brides, pretty neat stuff. The kids went trick or treating this year with cousin Isabel, who was a mighty cute pink bunny.
